First off, this was not only my first convention, but also the focal point of the year. Seriously, I've been waiting for the past 8 months for this. Buuuuut anyway, it was really fun, we saw some awesome cosplay, and met some beastly people.

So anyways, I went in a Death Note group. I was L, was Mello, was Misa, was Light, and Mason was Matt. Oh, and we had a Sid in our group too. I was.....the shortest L there, my real height being 4'11", I looked even shorter when slouching over like he does, but, enough of that.

At Matsuricon I partook in a debate over who was better; Superman or Batman, but had to leave before it ended because I ran out of candy. Our Misa and Light kept leaving us, and we kept losing our Matt(and ditching our Sid), so it was just me and Mello walking around. And during the last hour, dragging me around by handcuffs, because she wanted to use them and our Light refused, and before we left, I fought with Mello over chocolate, and we broke the handcuffs. -.-;

We walked through the dealers rooms a lot, and I bought a Near handpuppet of his Near fingerpuppet, and its adorable! I also bought a box of chocolate dessert pocky, a large box of strawberry panda crackers, L earrings, and a Mario sticker, for our Near who couldn't come. I ended up walking around with the Near puppet on, claiming that he was our Near, and a lot of people pointed out how he looks like Ponyo. X3

It was a bit of culture shock at first, but I got used to it later. There were people asking me and Mello for pictures, she glomped a Matt into the wall, and a lot of people were asking me for hugs.I'm still sad that it had to end, but it was an awesome experience, and I can't wait 'til next year!
